Today I'd like to share another inspiring success story. Adina joined the 90-Day KetoDiet Challenge in summer aiming to lose weight. She succeeded and joined our next challenge to stay on track and reach her long-term target of 120 pounds!

I am a 30 year old married female with no children, I have been over weight for the last 10 years. My husband is gone a lot so I am on my own most of the time with makes diets both easy and hard. I just completed my first 8 days of the keto diet and am thrilled with my results.

Feel free to check out my Instagram for meal ideas glende-goes-keto. Side note: my actual weight loss on this diet to date is 22.2 pounds I actually started the diet a few weeks prior to the challenge my starting weight was 213 pounds this diet truly works and made me feel awesome!

Why Did You Join?

My short term goal is to get to 190 lbs my long term goal is to get 120 lbs. I'm doing this for me, also I'd be lying if I didn't say I was doing this for my husband he deserves a wife with a hot body.

What Helped You Stay on Track?

Seeing progress in inches and not pounds was a huge factor in staying on track. Another factor would have to be how good I feel when I eat keto I just feel good mood, energy, and overall outlook are greatly improved.

How Has KetoDiet Helped?

I'm very competitive so I love that I can compete in the KetoDiet challenges it adds a bit more excitement to the lifestyle change, also the online community helps give some idea of foods and recipes to try.

What Are Your Favourite KetoDiet Recipes?

This far Bulletproof Coffee is by far my fave for the most part in the beginning I limited my foods to very simple plain single ingredients type meals, I kept it simple in an effort to not get discouraged about complicated recipes. Also some keto friendly foods are not readily available in my city so until I can do research and really get an idea of what I'm doing simple is okay. I did try some keto pancakes they weren't bad at all.

I've been eating low-carb for 20-odd years since I found the book Protein Power. Lost a lot of weight. But now, no matter that I eat very low carb and nothing out of a box, my weight is not shifting. So I would ask whether any of the challengers would mind posting their food intakes for a couple of days from while they were on the challenge. I need a comparison to see where my potholes 😁 are.

Hi Annie, I think you'd need to compare food intake over weeks. What matters is the long-term average food intake and even like that, everyone is different and has different dietary needs (keto calculator: KetoDiet Buddy - Easy Macro Calculator for the Ketogenic Diet).
We don't currently have on-line tracking enabled on our website (all KetoDiet Challenge participants track their diet using apps like our iOS app). The good news is that it's in our to-do list for 2017, together with Android tracking app. It will be a major update and will require months of work - stay tuned! 😊
