The release date of my brand new The Keto All Day Cookbook is fast approaching and there is no better time for a holiday giveaway! You know how much I love my Instant Pot so it was easy to decide on the prize I'm giving away this time.

As mentioned in my announcement post, my new book is a collection of the best recipes from my previous 5 keto cookbooks. And don't worry — there are 20 brand new, never shared before recipes too!

The Keto All Day Cookbook will be released on January 22nd, 2019 and is now available to pre-order on Amazon US (and all Amazon stores), Barnes & Noble (US), Indie Bound (US), Indigo (CA), Waterstones (UK) and Book Depository (UK).

Why Pre-order?

Preorders support your favourite authors. When you preorder a book, it tells bookstores that people like it, which makes them stock more copies of it. This makes it more likely for people to discover my book.

Also, preordering guarantees the lowest price. Many book stores including Amazon offer a “preorder price guarantee” which means if you preorder you will always get it at the lowest price. ⠀

If you like my cookbooks and want to support what I do, please, leave a review on Amazon. It only takes a minute to leave a review and makes a tremendous difference to authors like myself. Thank you! 🖤

I changed the way I ate in 2011, when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. I had no energy, and I found it more and more difficult to maintain a healthy weight.

That’s when I decided to quit sugar, grains, and processed foods, and to start following a whole-foods-based ketogenic approach to food.

This is my first holiday season keto so I'm not an expert.  I'm just taking day by day and staying away from situations that would be too hard (cookie exchange!).

In response to the giveaway question, I do it the way I do any other day. Don't indulge just because everyone else is.

I stay Keto during the holidays out of choice, habit, need, preference & sometimes by gritting my teeth; LOL!

Will be making mostly meat choices with keto approved veggies, and trying to stay with keto friendly desserts, as well. My mom is aware of my food choices, and will try to make things friendly for me, as long as they are things she can eat also, and we doe our own things for the rest. She is 92, and eats her way (SAD), and my dear brother, who will be joining us, also eats othe ways, so dinner will be ham, and whatever else we decide to do. I will probably have Brussels sprouts with lots of butter, and homemade cranberry sauce without sugar (keto friendly subs, like stevia glycerite). Possibly a pecan pie or butter pecan ice cream for dessert (keto versions).

This year I decided to host the holiday party since my mother recently suffered from a severe injury which leaves her unable to cook or plan the holiday dinner party. Since I’m hosting the party this year, I planned out an entire menu so all the choices I have made are Keto friendly. Lots of planning and just enyoing all the delicious Keto friendly foods is what helps me stay Keto during the holiday season.

There are so many low carb keto options during the holidays it's a surprise not everyone is taking advantage. I don't eat meat so my mother makes my husband and I salmon with nothing but lemon, spices, and a bit of butter or olive oil. I love brussels sprouts and unsweetened homemade cranberry sauce. Sometimes the store sells cranberries on sale, so I have a lot in my freezer.  The stuffing usually has turkey in it so it's easy to avoid for us! Forgoing the flour in the gravy is also quite easy to do.

My answer didn't come up on the post. The question How to stay keto during the holidays?  Lots of planning and making thoughtful choices with my family of what we will eat.  My children and I spend lots of time looking at recipes and planning out goodies to make with together.

I usually host the holiday get togethers so that way I know exactly what is Keto friendly

I am staying keto throughout the holiday season by finding replacement recipes for my favorite holiday dishes and treats. I love pumpkin flavored anything so my go to for a sweet pumpkin treat has been the pumpkin pie fat bombs!!! I love them! I have lost a total of 20lbs since starting keto 2 months ago and I continue to stay motivated by the idea of losing more weight and being at a healthy weight to start a family.

Greetings to all KeTo Fans!  What a wonderful way to get healthy!  I will stay on KeTo by making side dishes to share with my family!  My son, though not on strict KeTo needs to watch his sugar so I bring Keto-friendly recipes from this blog & others, the sugar-free cranberry sauce was a great hit, as well as Keto Pumpkin Pie, green beans with almonds!  I have lost 41 lbs and am at goal, so I can ease up a little bit, but keep pretty strict with it. I have been looking at the instant pot, trying to decide if it would benefit me since I live alone, but found some wonderful recipes for KeTo way of living & would love to try them to take to share at covered dish meals. Please enter me in the giveaway!  Thank you so much for all you research and share with us!  Blessings for a wonderful Holiday Season!
