Healthy chocolate donuts did you say? Yes I did! These low-carb dark chocolate donuts (aka doughnuts here in Britain) are baked rather than fried and use a low-carb sweetener instead of sugar to keep your blood sugar levels more stable.

You can so totally have your cake and eat it now #ketofams! All the taste of a good chocolate treat but keto-friendly.

I topped mine with cacao nibs, simply because i’m a bit of a cacao addict, but you can leave off and eat just with the dark chocolate drizzle or sprinkle with your favourite toasted chopped nuts or coconut.

Instead of dark chocolate, you can use melted coconut butter (you can make your own coconut butter) or even this deliciously creamy Keto White Chocolate. Enjoy!

This was my first time making doughnuts and these came out so good! I baked mine for 12 minutes but next time will try 10-11 as they were a little dry but I put a glaze on top of white chocolate and coconut so that added moistness. They reminded me more of a brownie than a doughnut which was awesome since I love brownies. Definitely will be making again. I loved that the ingredients were ones I already had so I didn’t need to buy any powders or gums. This is a keeper! Thanks for your recipe!

Thank you Jojo, that's great to know! I'll add a note to the baking time 😊

Really hoping this recipe would be successful with my little donut maker.

I don't see why not! Let me know if you try it 😊

These look great! No donut pan though. Which do you think would be better: a regular muffin tin and bake longer, or a mini muffin tin and bake for less time? Thanks!

I think that both will be great but I'd probably go for the regular muffin size 😊
