I've been using the beta release since Jan 30th. I have not run into any issues using the new features. I enjoy being able to track the additional data (water, body stats, readings, mood, energy) within this app. I'm pleased with the addition of the notes option too (and would love to see notes summarized within the progress tab along with the other new tracking feature) Overall, I think the new features are great and love that this app just continues to get more robust! Thanks for the great app

Thank you Sandy - the new version will be released tomorrow and we'll start work on the next set of features.

I inadvertently added the wrong meal to my planner and it will not let me delete it on an Android. There's a delete button when I dive into the meal, but it doesn't do anything. Am I missing something? If not, this is useless for today.

Just swipe right on the meal to delete it. This is the iOS Beta Test group, in the future please contact support via Help > Support in the app.

I installed iOS 11 on my iPhone 6 on Wednesday evening. Yesterday I recorded my food into the planner as usual. This morning my data from september 20th and 21st is gone.

Thanks for letting me know Sid - I'll have a look later tonight. iOS11 has a few issues all of which are fixed and I will push an update in a few days, but, none of them should cause any data loss. I will check the dates you mentioned on our servers to find out if any data for the given dates has been synced. Just to explain, the way syncing works (in general) is that data is never deleted but only marked as deleted and all changes on any piece of data (e.g. a planner day) are also stored as revisions.

Hi Sid, a quick update: I pushed an update which should be available in a few days. It fixes a number of iOS11 issues mostly related to layout. You will get notified when it's available to download (via TestFlight). Typically takes Apple 1-3 days to approve Beta versions.

I installed the new app to both my iPhone 6 and 5c today. The only little quirk is when “purchasing” a recipe package I got stuck in an infinite loop with sandbox asking for my password until after 3 times I hit cancel.

I'm using the app on an iPad mini 2, and every time I launch the app, it will show the Essential Data screen for about 2 seconds, then it returns to my desktop. If I tap the icon, or double-click the Home button to select the application (because it's still running), the app just re-launches and I'm in the same loop. It's obviously not functional. I'm running iOS 9.3.5

Hi, Nikos, yes sounds like that would be me. I was persistent in trying to get it to work. :-) I restarted and the problem still exists. It pretty consistently happens only when I'm attempting to make edits to my profile. After restarting, I was able to make one edit that I hadn't been able to make previously, but when I tried to edit another entry, the app crashed. Once it has crashed once, it seems it will continue to happen until I restart. Restarting once again, I tried to make another edit to the profile and the app crashed right away. I have 3.1GB free on the tablet.

Hi Laurie, is literally while you edit fields? Or when you tap to save a change? Are there any specific steps that reproduce the crash? Thanks

Launch the app. It's automatically on the Profile page, showing Essential Data. I tap "Edit", then I tap the arrow next to Body Fat (because this has a yellow triangle, showing it hasn't yet got an entry), then if I actually just leave it on that next screen, without tapping anything, the app crashes to the desktop. So far, it's only on these screens where I can enter a value for my profile that the app seems to have problems. I can browse articles, meal ideas, and scan and enter items in my daily menu without issue.

This is probably not a beta-test question, but it is the only link I can find on the website to post a forum question.... In the process of trying to add an ingredient (no bar code available), it has 8gm of Carbs, 7gm of fiber, but after everything is entered, the program calls the net carbs to be 2.8, not one. There is no option to add an ingredient as a serving or a scoop (which many supplements have), only grams, preferable 100gms it seems which makes no sense at all to me. I don't understand: am I supposed to divide the grams given in the serving into 100, then multiply all the values by the result so that everything is calculated according to the 100gms? Or what? I deal with grams, milligrams, milliliters, liters, etc., in the medical field all the time, but not everything in the USA related to nutrition and especially cooking is calculated that way but instead uses what used to be called the English foot-pound system. I wish we in the US would join the rest of the world in the metric system in all things, however we have about a "zillion" cookbooks and recipes using the foot-pound system and that is the only way I know to cook, other than "a pinch of this and a handful of that!" I don't know if that is why the calculated carbs are not right (higher in this case and most other cases.) But when you're counting carbs, it is very frustrating to not be able to get a simple 8gm carbs - 7gm fiber = 1 net carb result. Any suggestions? Anyone? I really like this program better than any others I have tried, the barcode program seems to be working well so far (except Natural Force Organic Whey Protein bar code did not compute) - so far everything I have tried to scan seems to be working except for that one. BUT...the gram vs ounce vs serving, etc. is a real issue. I am still looking for a program that meets my needs that is conducive to U.S. standard measurements...sigh. Any help to get this to work is greatly appreciated because I would really like this be "The One."

HI, you are correct the 2.8g vs 1g has to do with serving size vs 100g. To be certain please post a couple of screenshots that show the different values? it may be a bug :) When it comes to cups etc unless we know the density of the food we cannot deduce common volume sizes. For many foods the data is available and we do utilise it to show cups/ tsps/ tbsps etc but for most it isn't. I'm working on enhancing the data sources we use at the moment, that will help. Thanks
