DIY Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix

Autumn is here and it's the best time for pumpkin recipes. So what is it that gives pumpkin treats their characteristic taste? Although pumpkin itself adds a subtle sweetness and helps maintain a soft texture, it's the spices that make pumpkin treats so irresistible. I like making my own blend so I can choose the spices and flavours I like.

Below are some of my best recipes that use this blend. Once you make your own pumpkin spice mix, give these recipes a try and let me know! :-)

Sounds great!! I haven't tried mace or cardamom in my blend, will give it a go! Smile

Those are my favourite additions, especially cardamom Smile
