Easy Low-Carb Almond Green Beans

Step 1 Bring a large pot of water to a boil, once boiling blanch the green beans for 5 minutes then quickly drain.

Step 2 Pour the olive oil into a large skillet over medium low heat. Add in the sliced onions and cook on low-medium until caramelized, for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3Once caramelized, add in the green beans and butter.

Step 4Toss to coat then sprinkle with almonds to serve. Store refrigerated up to 5 days.
