Easy Homemade Poppy Seed Milk

Step 1Place poppy seeds in a small bowl and cover with cold water. Let soak for at least three hours.

Step 2Strain and then place the soaked poppy seeds in a blender, along with 3 cups of filtered water, vanilla and sweetener.

Step 3Blend for approx. 5 minutes, or until the seed release their milk.

Step 4Strain through cheesecloth or through a nut milk bag.

Step 5You can dilute the milk to suit your personal taste and serve warm. Store, in a capped bottle, in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before using.
