This week will be all about berries - blackberries, raspberries or strawberries - and I will be sharing several sweet and savoury recipes to make the most of these delicious low-carb summer fruits!

The main ingredient of this recipe is home-made ketchup which I use in all sorts of BBQ sauces. You can make this easy summer BBQ sauce in less than 10 minutes. Best of all, you can use either fresh or frozen blackberries.

It goes great with meat such as BBQ Pork Ribs or even on top of fried eggs!

I changed the way I ate in 2011, when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. I had no energy, and I found it more and more difficult to maintain a healthy weight.

That’s when I decided to quit sugar, grains, and processed foods, and to start following a whole-foods-based ketogenic approach to food.

I'm totally making this with ribs tonight! Thanks for sharing Martina!

Thanks Emma!

Interesting ingredients! Do you think it would work with other berries too?

Thank you Kevin. I've tried it with blueberries and it was really good 😊
