You can grab my keto food pyramid that will help you stick with your diet and make the right food choices. Just like my recipes, this pyramid is primal-friendly and if you skip the dairy section, it's also suitable for a paleo diet.

5. Keto Calculator

Following a ketogenic diet doesn't guarantee weight loss. It helps to keep an eye on your fat intake and use a good macronutrient calculator. The closer you get to your target weight, the more important that becomes. Additionally, you need to ensure that you're eating sufficient amount of protein to stay satiated and prevent muscle loss.

Our keto calculator will give you recommendations depending on your goal (weight maintenance, weight loss or weight gain). The calculations we used are based on widely accepted research and recommendations made by Dr. Volek and Dr. Phinney. We put a lot of effort to ensure that unlike some other calculators, you get sensible results that will help you with your diet.

6. KetoDiet Cookbook

Hi Martina, I have hypothyroid and my TSH levels are way above normal. I tried your diet and week 1 I actually gained 3 pounds. I followed it strictly. Can you suggest what I ma doing wrong? Should I add in a little bit of carbs? I am a vegetarian. Please advise.

Hi Divya, there could be a few reasons for that. I personally follow a low-carb, mildly ketogenic diet and I'm maintaining a healthy weight (also hypothyroid). Hi Zach, if that's Android, it's our next step. We have a Basic Android version (doesn't include the planner) and we are working on the fully featured KetoDiet App for Android.

Didn't know if you were aware of this but bc I pre-ordered your cookbook on Amazon I was able to order the Kindle version at a reduced rate of $3 and I downloaded it right away! 😉 😉 I am so excited. How awesome is that? It's an awesome collection and I still can't wait for the paper version. I was even the first to review it which never happens to me either!
